Falling for Ewe Question 5

Am I a big football fan?

The answer is not really. I used to like it when i worked sundays at a bar and i would have money on the game and i would get good tips the more my customers would drink. But I would have to say that I am really not a big sports person. I will watch it if people around me are but just not a fan.

Falling for Ewe Question 4

This is so far the question of the month and i have no idea.

What are you dressing up as for halloween or what is Joseph dressing up as?

And again I will say I have no idea. I might reuse a costume I wore 4 years ago. I made my friend and I matching Gypsy costumes. And I think Joseph might be Woody from toy story or a Bat. And Dave is going to be Curt Cobain. I bought a wig when i was pregnant 2 halloweens ago and I dressed up as Britney Spears Pregnant. Well Dave put it on and he look just like Curt. I think he can pull of the grunge look. So that is that.

Falling for Ewe week 3 question

What food or meals means fall? MMMMMMmmmmm I would say stews, squash, caramel apples and apple cider, and my specialty marble pumpkin cheesecake. Coming along well on the first package. Now that the tile festival is over i can continue to concentrate on my swaps. I am knitting every night and every opportunity that i can get. MY husband is getting quite annoyed with it but it is my escape from everything stressful. He really can't complain except for when he sees the credit card bill. LOL. No i am keeping within budget for all my swaps that I am in and he just has to realize that i am getting things in return.

The tile festival is finally over

This past weekend my husband and I participated in the 7th annual Handmade Tile Festival. It was a one day event featuring local tile artists and us a tile contractor. We are venturing into the handmade tile realm by handpicking and fabricating fossil slabs into tile. David made a wonderful table made of the fossil and hoped to sell it but unfortunately we didn't and now oh darn it has to go in our pub in the basement. But here are some photos of the booth

question for falling from ewe

What is your favorite thing about Autumn.

There are so many thing where do i start.
I love the colors the rich reds and oranges. I love being able to wear big comfy sweatshirts all the time. And being able to wear legwarmers for a porpose other than style. I love going to the apple orchards the smell is amazing and of course halloween. That is my favorite holiday of all time. What other holiday can you get away with wearing rediculous costumes out in public. When i was pregnant and had a little prego belly i dressed up like britney speers. That was the only time i felt comfortable with my belly hanging out. LOL other times it just couldn't of been prevented. But i love everything about autumn. And it will be really fun when i my son will learn about leave piles.

The great knitted purse swap

Well the purse swap is underway. I was so excited this morning to send out everyone's partners. I hope everyone is happy with who they have. I feel we have a great group and i am excited to see the packages that everyone gets.

And how is my slacker olympic project going? Well I have finished another row. I now have 10 butterfly rows done. I have between 4-7 left. Gotta see how long i want to make it. I think I might actually get it done..... But i should really be knitting instead of blogging. That is what Dave says all the time. So back to the grind. Plus Joseph is still sleeping so maybe I can get another row in before i have to go to the grandma and great aunts birthday party.

I am really starting to hate gagets

Okay so I get all these fun gadgets and they are all backfiring on me. I can not get this blog site on to ravelry.com and my blackberry keeps freezing up on me it's so frustrating. UUHHGGG
Maybe tomorrow will be a better day. Lets hope. I have been on the computor and my blackberry all day and I haven't gotten any knitting done. Again frustrating. I will plan for a better tomorrow.
Well I am now a gadget geek I can now blog from my phone. I received my first swap partner today I am really excited but Joseph just woke up and Dave just got home

I love ravlery.com

So i have recently discovered ravelry.com and now am spending most of my internet time on it. My husband thinks i'm nuts because I am going around and taking pictures of every piece of yarn and everything that I have ever knitted. But I think it is really cool this website where you can track everything from your wip's to your magazines. Well just thought I would jot down an entry since I haven't been on here in a while.

Not a baby anymore

My poor baby is not a baby anymore. He got his first haircut yesterday. And my husband is pretending to be pregnant with a cat right now. Most of the time I hope I am just halucinating about how wierd he is or maybe that I have just drank too much but NO he is just that anoyingly wierd. I am not even going to say what he is doing right now.
But I think that I should go to bed now. I will post a pick of Joseph's first haircut soon.

AHHHHHHHHH

I HATE POKER !!!!!!!!! On about 7 different hands I got sucked out only to get beat by a pair higher than me. I had 10's He had Jack's I had a straight He had a flush. Go figure. What ever I will stick to my scratch off's, they don't make me as angry.

Any way the new van is great. It was 2007 Dodge Grand Caravan. And the best part is that is has stow and go. That is so great that I don't have to store my seats anywhere. I would go in and talk to Karen Aichinger, she was wonderful. She really listened to my needs and fit me with the perfect vehicle that was within my budget. They had plenty of used vehicles but I really wanted the stow and go so I went with new.

New Van

Well exciting news. I bought a new minivan last night. We found out we were getting a decent tax refund so we went out and bought a van. We went to southview chevrolete and we got a fenominal deal. They really helped us and gave us a really great deal. If you are in the market I highly recomend going there.
No recent milestones for Joseph today.
I did however start a new knitting project last night. I am making a beenie with black silk. It should be quite pretty.
I have to run to target now and drive my new van. I love it. It has heated seats and built in DVD player. Just what Joseph needed now he can watch baby einstien in the car. By the way that was total sarcasm in my voice.

the start of it all

Well look at me. I am now an official blogger. this will be the start of all of my venting, realizing how many knitting projects i have going and the reality check that my baby is growing up so fast. He has learned how to do so much. He now shakes his head no and yes and he is the biggest flirt. And great I just get started and now he has woken up from his nap. until later.
